Ans. After you have logged in, the Log-out link is present throughout the MyVaastu website. The link is present right at the top of all the pages. You can choose to log-out from any of the pages & all you need to do is to click on the "Log-out" link. Ans. To search for properties on MyVaastu.com you can use any of the following options:-
Quick Search - It is an instant and time saving search and allows you find properties quickly on the basis of the Category of the property you are looking for and its location.
Advanced Search –It is a more detailed method of finding your perfect property and helps you get exactly the kind of properties you are looking for. It gives a more exhaustive list of your property needs and assists you in finding properties that are a perfect match to your requirements.
Property ID Search - Every property listed on MyVaastu.com will receive a unique Property ID. Example: MVAPT00008 You can search for a property by just entering the Property ID.

Q. In what order are the property search results listed?
Ans.The search results at MyVaastu.com get updated continually. The most recent property listings are listed right at the top so that you can view properties that have most recently been open for sale/rent. It is our constant endeavor to present to you latest and fresh property listings.

Q. Why can't I find a listing when I run a search?
Ans. This could be because there are no properties currently available that match your search criteria. It could also be due to a very narrow search criteria. Please try and broaden your criteria and run another search. Another good solution to this would be to post your property requirement by filling a simple form. This will help us sending you alerts when we get properties matching your requirement

Q. I do not like any of the properties that are listed in the search result. Is there any other way I can look for a property?
Ans. Yes, we have devised a solution for this. All you need to do is to post your property requirement on MyVaastu.com. Your property requirement will be saved and when we have a property for sale that matches your requirement we’ll send the details to you. This gives you a fine, hassle-free solution to your property needs.

Q. In case I run a detailed search and I want to use the same search later. How can I save the search?
Ans. On MyVaastu.com, It only takes less than a minute to save a detailed search for future use. Each time you run a search and get the Search results, just click on the "Save this Search" icon on the page. All you need to do then is to give a name to this search so that you can easily remember it in future.
Later, when you want to retrieve and run this saved search, Please follow these steps:-
Login to your MyVaastu account with username/password
Click on "My Searches" under the "Control Panel" section present to the right of the page
You will then see all the searches you had saved in the past
You will now have an option to run this search, edit and re-save it or delete it altogether

To search for specific agents in a location of your choice, please use either"Directory Search" on the top of all the pages or you can also click "Property Directory" section present on the left hand side of the Home page and select agents or builders

Q. What is the procedure for posting my property for sale or rent on your site?
Ans. To begin with, you must first register yourself on MyVaastu.com. Once you are a registered member you can list your property for sale or rent. Listing is done by filling up a simple form that takes only a few minutes. To post your property on our site, please follow this path:-
1. Click the " Sell " button on the tab below the logo
2. Login using your username and password
3. Enter all the details of your property in the form
4. Add property photos if you wish
5. Click on " Finish "
After you add your details, it will be screened for validation. All listings are sent for validation to ensure that only valid profiles appear on MyVaastu.com. After your property listing is validated, it will be visible to all MyVaastu users.

Q. Can I post one property for both rent and sale at the same time?
Ans. No, the same property cannot be listed both for rent and sale. It is important for you to define whether your property is open for sale or rent so that the prospective property buyers are clear about your offering.

Q. Once I post my property listing, for how long will it be valid?
Ans. Once you list your property on MyVaastu.com, it will be valid and visible for a period of 60 Days. We have especially kept the validity and visibility period this long to save your time and to give the listing enough time to attract the best listing. And this is not all, right before the expiry of your listing, we will send you a reminder mail and you can then choose to refresh the listing.

Ans.A picture is worth a thousand words and will make your property listing come alive. By displaying your property photograph, prospective buyers will have a better picture of your property. Our statistics have clearly revealed that adding a photograph to your listing increases the number of times your profile is viewed by 10 times. This means that you are likely to receive 10 times more response if you display your property photograph.
Infact, the most viewed and popular profiles are the ones that have an attached photograph. So we recommend you to upload your property photo to further enhance your listing and increase your chances of finding the best deal quickly.

Q. How do I add a photograph of my property?
Ans.Adding a Property Photo to your listing is easy and effortless.
There are 3 ways through which you can post your property photograph.
1. UPLOAD THE PICTURE FROM YOUR COMPUTER YOURSELF
This can be done at two stages. Firstly, right when you are creating your listing, you can upload your property photo by using the browse button. Secondly, if you want to upload/change you photo at a later stage; you can do so by logging to your MyVaastu account and clicking on "Approved" link next to Sale or Rent. Here clicking the "Edit" button will give you aid you in managing all your photographs.
2. BY EMAIL
Attach the files with your photo(s) and mail them across to photos@MyVaastu.com . Remember to write in your Name and username along with the Property ID. We will upload it with in 48 hours and inform you thereafter.
3. BY SNAILMAIL
If you do not have a digital photo of yourself, then read the instructions about how to add a non-digital photograph and send us your photograph at the address given there.

Q. Do I need to pay anything extra to display my property photo?
Ans. No, attaching your property photo to your listing is FREE. There is no extra charge for displaying your property photo. Take full benefit of this free service and display your property photo to maximize your responses.

Q. I have a regular, non - digital photograph of my property. How do i add this photo to my property listing ?
Ans. Yes, we have a solution to your problem. MyVaastu.com provides a FREE image digitizing and scanning service to all its members. If you do not possess a soft copy of your photo which you can readily upload, just send us the hard copy at the address given below and we will do the rest for you. We will scan, enhance, optimize and upload and attach it to your listing.
Please put your photograph in a non-crushable envelope with your MyVaastu Username, Property ID, Name, E-mail Id and signature written behind the photograph. In case of multiple photos, please specify clearly between the main photograph and the album photographs. We will scan your photo, make a digital copy & attach it with your profile. After receiving your photograph we will upload your photograph within 2 working days. Once attached, we will notify you via email.
MyVaastu.com is not responsible or liable for any photographs that may get damaged or lost in transit. In addition, do note that photographs will NOT be returned in any condition so please ensure that you send us only a duplicate or a copy.

Q. I got an error while uploading the photograph. What could be the reason?
Ans. There could be only 2 reasons for this error.
One of the reasons for the error could be that you selected a photograph other than JPG or GIF formats. MyVaastu.com does not support other file formats.
The other could be that your photograph exceeds the maximum permissible size of 200 KB. We do not accept digital photo files that are more than 100KB in size.

Q. I have uploaded my property photograph but it is still not visible in my listing. What could be the reason?
Ans. The MyVaastu Team has a policy to review all photographs uploaded by our members. By policy, we screen each and every photograph that gets uploaded by our members. While we do allow our members to upload their photographs, we reserve the right to not accept any photograph that violates socially accepted norms of decency and/or contains any form of nudity.
Hence, once you upload your photograph, we take a maximum of 48 hours to screen and upload the same.

Q. Are there any do’s & don’ts that I should keep in mind while uploading my property photograph?

The image file should be in JPG or GIF Format
The size of each photograph must not exceed 200 KB
Moreover, your chosen photograph(s) must be in accordance with the socially acceptable standards. MyVaastu reserves the right to remove/delete any photograph that violates socially accepted norms of decency and/or contains any form of nudity

Click on the "View & Edit" link against the property you wish to edit
Click on "Edit" against the information you wish to change
